Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. JP Martell is a board-certified general psychiatrist and addiction psychiatrist. A native speaker of both Spanish and English, he connects easily with a diverse range of patients, including those seeking a Spanish-speaking psychiatrist.

Dr. Martell’s practice at Silver Arrow Psychiatric Care is dedicated to enhancing mental health and life satisfaction in a welcoming, inclusive environment. He treats a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders.

Dr. Martell completed his addiction psychiatry fellowship at Yale School of Medicine and his psychiatry residency at the University of Kansas. Outside of work, he enjoys playing the drums, scuba diving, and flying model airplanes.
